EFF eureka springs. i will NEVER spend another penny there. i will NEVER take my guests there.
i have a HUGE internet presence. waaaay bigger than the CAPC. today more than 100,000 readers will see this message in all of the 40 groups and forums i own. totalling over 100K members..i am especially big with the bikers and auto clubs. by tomorrow a million people will see it.
just as much as i brought people to eureka i will now do everything in my power to drive them away.
why? you may ask.... because of your speed traps.
i got the first ticket i ever got in my life. out past the sewage plant headed outbound. you know.... where the speed limit signs say 35/45/55 all within sight. where it;s creek on one side and bluff on the other for a few miles.... i was the last car in a line of four cars all doing the same speed... i got a ticket for 18 over in a 35.... when i questioned this i was told the cop was 100 ft. inside of the 45 sign so it was still 35... OOOOKKKAAAYYY!!!
then after he ran my info and gave me a ticket. i asked why ( knowing this was my first ticket) he couldn't give me a WARNING he said he WOULD, except i GOT OUT OF MY CAR when he stopped me.... since this was my first ticket i don't know the procedure. i thought i was showing respect by going to him. i ain't pissed so much about the ticket. i'm pissed because he wouldn't give me a warning because i got out of my car. nothing about justice here.
soooo enjoy your few bucks you'll get from me. for every dollar it costs me it's gonna cost you $1000. just like i have been a cheerleader for eureka the last 30 years i will VEHEMENTLY oppose you for the rest of my life. i am retired. i am on the computer all day every day. i don't have anything to do but bad mouth you.
i will not spend another penny there. and beleive me i have spent a lot. i will not even pass through. i will no longer service anyone in the eureka springs city limits ( i am a licensed craftsman much in demand) I do not need your business. you need my skills.
i will not bring another of my guests to eureka. i have brought many in the past. they come to visit ME not eureka. they'll have just as much fun in branson without the PIGS.
i will not recommend anyone to go to eureka and contrary i will BAD MOUTH YOU as much as i possibly can.
one more thing.... when i asked how much the ticket was the cop said they'd let me know..... FINES are supposed to be codified NOT at the whim of some bureacrat.

if you're thinking of coming to eureka springs to party BE WARNED.... the cops can SEE all of you parked at the bars. on fri and sat nites they WAIT FOR YOU. they KNOW you've been drinking. they wait outside the populated areas of eureka just inside the city limits. it's how eureka springs makes it's money.
