Android, Privacy settings, defeat tracking, clear caches

Android cellphone ? you can clear all the caches ( cookies, history etc.) open your browser and press the MENU button, more, settings. scroll down. the choices are explained.
If you want to shut off the LOCATOR which tracks your location it's on the list as is the forms data. it's a good idea to clear everything daily. with a computer you can wipe it all everytime you re-boot but I can find no such thing for cellphone. you can also shut of the phone locator by going to APPS/tutorials. STEP 3 gives you the option to turn off the cellphone locator.
then if you want to clear FACEBOOK caches on your phone
  • Home Screen
  • Menu --> Settings
  • Applications
  • "All" ( or MANAGE APPLICATIONS then ALL, depending on the ver. )
  • Select "Facebook"
  • "Clear Cache". If you want to delete ALL data, choose "Clear Data"
These instructions work for all apps, not just facebook.
note you can also FORCE STOP of any APP on each ones page. this is good to shut down apps not in use which save power as well as DATA amount used and frees up RAM to speed the rest up..
it's a good idea to turn off your GPS when not in use. not only does it save power but hides your location.

I've finished personalizing the opening display on my pantech crossover.it is for OUTDOOR SPORTS so it is SHOCK RESISTANT and WATERPROOF. it was FREE for renewing my contract.it is fully internet capable and I use it as a WiFi HOTSPOT, eliminating my need for a DSL.I am totally wireless now and saving $30 mo to boot.
